Gaia stands in the middle of a weave of energy while she holds a yellow flower starting to wilt. The weave of the environment is a sunset view over the Rocky Mountains with a sunrise through large leafless trees. Her eyes plead with the viewer to understand that our environment provides for our existence while simultaneously being dependent on our actions.
This painting has been exhibited in a number of venues including the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Brookgreen Gardens Museum in South Carolina, and most recently took Best of Show in the National Juried Art Exhibition in Boulder, Colorado
